this is the first time i've heard a trance song on NG that sounds like mine

i really love it when the bass comes in at 1:14
and all the effects are awesome, they work amasingly

it kinda reminds me of hallucinogen in the middle

i would love it if you gave my latest song a listen, i think it would be great to do a collaberation with someone.
i think your song is structurally better than mine usually are, and mastered, but please consoder a collaberation, i think it would be great.

by the way in my track, about 2:10 the lead is wrong, im sorting that out now :D

That's nice to hear...that is someone who enjoys making the same style of music like mine. I don't know how many electronic musicians on NG follow our style, but at least I know you, elph, and I make three so far.

Thanks for the compliments about the effects. i got a bit lucky making them playing around with the router.

I've always wanted to do a collab, but it seems that 95% of the guys on the AP use fruity loops, reason, or some other windows/pc based music program. I'm a apple user so to no surprise I use logic pro 8. I want to get logic pro 9 in the future, but if you don't have logic pro like me then collaborating is very difficult. Plus, logic 8 has a bug in it where even if you had logic 8 we could send each other the music project BUT the instruments that you made won't transfer over....and pretty much in my music 90% of the stuff is made by me. That's why I'm hoping logic 9 has that bug fixed. I will check out your song as soon as I can.

yer uv got th general idea, you need to change some synths, and YOU NEED A BASSLINE!!!
3 notes inbetween every bdrum hit on a clean bass synth... listen to astrix - sex style at about 1:20 - you should know wht i mean.
an th bassdrum needs to be less high pitched i think get a more thumpy one
u have got a pretty good idea of wht to do, i can tell its psytrance, it jus needs a bit of touching up. an it never reaches a peak! i find this alot when i make psytrance, its so hard to make it reach a climax and stay there. but keep it up, i can see you makin some real good stuff :D

bdrum is just a tweaked vanilla FL kick, which I think is really funny. Easy enough fix for the kick, just tweak one parameter.
I couldn't find a good bass that fit, so I just sort of fell back on a basic trance mid-bass, which is the first synth. I could probably fix up on the detune and it would be a clean saw bass. Throw in a small square and boom, a psy bass.
This whole song is made with only 3xOSC, so the synth at 0:40 is actually just a low-pitched saw on a slide.
It's hard to reach a peak when this whole thing plays like three different songs, but I think if anywhere the peak would be at about 3:50.

only thing i would say is it sounds a bit empty at th begginging maybe some reverb on th drums slightly to blend it all in?
and when the tone of drum changes its all a bit sudden, stil deserves a 10 and 5 tho!

im using fl studio 8, and i use sytrus for just about every sound. I spent a lot of time EQing the song the best i could which helps it fit together a little better. Im glad you liked it :)

Thanks man :D glad you liked it ^^ I dont make music sounding like infected mushroom (psytrance), although I wish I chould make that kind of music :P If you don't have VEC 1-2 (Vengeance Essential Club Sounds), I suggest you get them, since there's alot of good drum samples and FX's in them :P
